You will be fully tutored and taken through all aspects of the profession, with the freedom to learn where and when it suits you. Ideal for people looking to retrain or combine their passion for travel with other commitments.

Upon completion of this programme and the official exam, you will be officially certified as an IVOR tour manager or on-site host, seeing your qualifications recognised by tour operators and travel companies.
Supervision from a specialist tutor
While following this programme, you are not alone. A subject expert will provide feedback on your practical assignments. You can also contact this tutor for questions about the subject matter, practising competences and skills and preparing for the exam.
Examinations
The exam includes a written theory component and a role-play session conducted via Microsoft Teams. During the role-play, you handle a case with two examiners, demonstrating your skills in a practical situation.
Optional training days
If you wish, you can register for the two training days in Utrecht (Netherlands). Here you meet other participants and put the theory to practice. The programme is completely organised by the participants, with the tasks being similar to that of a tour manager. This way you get a real feel for what it means to work with guests and to organise and coordinate the various components of a holiday trip. If at all possible, we therefore recommend to join these training days. The cost for attending the training sessions is €100 per day.
