E-learning

This on-line course offers comprehensive, high-quality, hands-on training for anyone who wants to work as a tour representative. Whether you are interested in cultural travel within Europe, being the on-site host in a summertime destination or undertaking adventurous trips to faraway destinations, you will acquire all the skills needed to make the guest’s holiday a success.

Life as a tour representative

Working in the travel industry as a tour representative or guide is an attractive prospect for many. Sunny destinations, happy travellers – you imagine a job with fun contacts and the chance to discover the world. That image is largely true, but there is more to it.

The life of a tour representative is dynamic, adventurous and versatile but it is also hard work. There are demands on you, also increasingly from guests. You are responsible for organising and guiding trips, giving travellers an unforgettable experience.

  • This course is really worthwhile. I have learned a lot. The lessons are taught by people from the field which is a huge plus. It is intensive and a lot of work but it pays off. During the 2 training days, we were presented with situations you have to deal with as a tour manager and from that you learn a lot. If all tour managers had taken this course, there would be only satisfied guests and passengers.
